You are bidding on an official American Library Association (ALA Publishing) poster from their Celebrity READ campaign.  Created by the ALA in 1985, each READ poster features a famous person posing with their favorite book (or books).  All celebrities are chosen because of his/her popularity, appeal and visibility to a general audience.  The ALA tries to feature a range of diverse talent who would be great spokespersons for reading to both adults and children.  If you've ever visited your local library (which you hopefully have), you've probably seen a poster like this with an actor, musician or other star persona spotlighted.

This particular poster features Goldie Hawn reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears by Lorinda Bryan Cauley.  This was part of the second series in ALA's Celebrity READ posters, released in 1986 (the two celebs from the 2nd set were George Burns and Goldie).

CONDITION:
The top left corner is ripped and the other corners show evidence of tape removal or tack marks from being displayed.  However, this could easily be cropped out by framing the poster.  Very small writing in pencil on the back (light enough that it should erase, or who cares, since it's on the back).  Minor signs of wear/aging, but the main image is presentable.
